A warp speed footage resource

When Paul Kavanagh, the animation supervisor of the new "Star Trek" film, needed to breathe life into the CG beast known as a polarilla who battles Captain Kirk, he did research on BBC Motion Gallery to find the best creatures to base it on and study how they move. To think we played a small role in helping to create this epic "Star Trek" feature has us all beaming.

Standard (all) - all of our RM Motion Gallery clips are available in standard definition, and can be supplied in both Pal or NTSC format.

Film backed - these clips are available on film as well as VT. Please contact your local sales representative for further details.

HD from film - these clips have been converted from a film source (either 35mm or s16mm) and are readily available as HD VT.

HDi - these clips are available in an interlaced HD format. Please contact your sales representative for further information.

HDp - these clips are available in a progressive HD format. Conversions can be made to interlaced, subject to technical specifications. Please contact your sales representative to discuss.
